Mary Lopez is a Research Scientist at the University of New Mexico Cradle to Career Policy Institute (UNM CCPI). As a research team member, she works on projects related to maternal child health, child care assistance subsidies, and early childhood education. She assists with research design, conducting interviews, and analyzing quantitative data, among other tasks. Mary holds a master's degree in public policy from UNM. She gained data analysis and evaluation experience through her positions as a Policy Lab Graduate Assistant and Evaluation Lab Fellow. During that time, her research focused on child welfare and K-12 education.
