Elizabeth Yakes Jimenez, PhD, MS, RDN, has been affiliated with CCPI (formerly the Center for Education Policy Research) in various capacities since 2011. She is a Professor and the Assistant Dean for Research in the College of Population Health at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, with secondary appointments in the Departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Dr. Yakes Jimenez has expertise in designing, implementing and evaluating clinical and community-based research studies, with a particular focus on maternal, child and adolescent populations. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles on this work and has mentored over 60 early career faculty, graduate students, medical residents and medical students in conducting and disseminating research.
