Paso a Paso Podcast: Opportunities for Child Care Providers from Cradle to Career Policy Institute (CCPI) with Hailey Heinz

This week’s Paso a Paso Podcast features CCPI researcher Hailey Heinz discussing early childhood projects happening at CCPI and opportunities for New Mexicans to have their voices heard through research. Paso a Paso is a community network in Taos, NM focused on supporting high-quality early childhood opportunities for Taos families. You can listen to the podcast or read notes from the show here. In the podcast, Hailey highlighted three ways New Mexicans can participate in early childhood research. CCPI is current seeking NM families with young children (not yet in kindergarten) to take a survey about their child care needs and experiences. The team is also recruiting families with young children from Native American and Tribal communities to participate in more in-depth interviews and focus group discussions about their child care needs. Finally, the team is seeking home-based child care providers to participate in interviews and focus groups about their experiences. This includes registered homes as well as home-based providers who are not registered. Each study opportunity will be compensated with a $20 gift card.
