Darlene Castillo is a research scientist at UNM’s Cradle to Career Policy Institute. She specializes in mixed-methods research, culturally responsive evaluation design, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. Darlene has experience leading equity-centered evaluation and research projects that help organizations deepen their impact across education, housing, and community wellbeing. Prior to joining CCPI, Darlene managed multi-year evaluations on public safety, housing stability, and health equity initiatives. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and Master of Public Policy from the University of New Mexico.
