Megan Dunn Davison
Research Associate Professor
Megan Dunn Davison, PhD, CCC-SLP/L is the Director of Continuous Improvement at United Way of Central New Mexico and a Research Associate Professor at the Cradle to Career Policy Institute at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Dunn Davison received a B.A. in Communication Disorders from Truman State University where she was a Ronald E. McNair Scholar. She attended Purdue University for her M.S. and The Pennsylvania State University for her Ph.D. in Communication Disorders. She is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. Dr. Dunn Davison's research has focused on the contributions of early language development to later reading outcomes in at-risk preschool children and school-age children with language-based learning disabilities.
Previously, Dr. Dunn Davison was faculty in the Department of Linguistics and Communication Disorders at Queens College, City University of New York and the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She also serves as a mentor for the Penn State Communication Sciences and Disorders Alumni Mentoring Program and the Promoting the Next Generation of Researchers program with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is the former Editor of the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research.
