Alexis Kaminsky
Research Assistant Professor
Alexis Kaminsky, Ph.D. is a research assistant professor at the UNM Cradle to Career Policy Institute with particular expertise in projects designed to address under-representation in STEM fields and qualitative methods. She currently heads the research component of the New America Schools evaluation study, investigating alternative outcome indicators for students who are recent immigrants, at risk of dropping out, returning to school or with other special needs.
Dr. Kaminsky earned her Ph.D. in program evaluation from Cornell University in 1997. She teaches research ethics at UNM and has run a small independent consulting business since 2007.
