The Cradle to Career Policy Institute is embarking on a project that explores new ways to evaluate the success of non-traditional schools. CCPI staff are working with New America Schools, which are public charter schools serving recent immigrants and their families. The project will examine where traditional measures like test scores fall short in rating the schools, and what kinds of measures could be more suitable. The work is funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and more details are available here.
